Thank you for such a great component. We are just investigating it for our website on our development server.

1. We have noticed that Joomla 1.5.8 has changed the Itemid behaviour on a blog page. The article links on a blog page used to have the same Itemid as the blog page even if they had their own (sub-)menu links which linked to the article (again) with their own Itemids.

The new version picks up the Itemids of those (sub-)menu Itemids and uses those on the blog page links. SEF Service map however does not yet use this behaviour and shows both the links from the blog page with the blog-page Itemid and the menu item link with the menu Itemid, creating duplicate links. This behaviour should probably be updated.

2. When we tried to circumvent this problem by switching to "Show Categories Only" we found that this setting has no effect. Is this maybe missing in the code?

I solved this problem adding option "Hide all" in Integrator custom parameters in addition to existing two options Show Categories Only and Show categories and contents.

When "Hide all" option is ON, the only link to Section menu remains visible.

This kills duplicated content items in the site map with wrong Itemids.

In order to have valid Itemids for submenu contents you have to select "Hide all" option for the root Section menu and publish all contents for submenu categories with Show categories and contents option selected.

Oleg, Would you be prepared to share the amended code for adding the "Hide All" option into the com_content integrator. I am experiencing the problem you describe but I'm afraid my PHP coding skills don't stretch to it.
I have added the "Hide All" option to com_content_bot.xml but don't know what to do with com_content_bot.php
