is the problem rpc.pingomatic.com ?

deleted pingomatic, renetered it and got the following error

Bad host address or host don't support xml-rpc PingBack protocol

I have the same problem, and I haven't received a response from anyone yet...

If I browse to http://rpc.pingomatic.com I get the following error:
XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.

I have the same problem. After more than a month, since I installed sefservicemap on joomla 1.5.9, still no luck with pingback on pingomatic.com . I wish someone would at least answer our posts.

Great Component and would love to use its full potential. Pingback doesn't work; queue gets longer and there are no logs. http://rpc.pingomatic.com/ 0000-00-00 00:00:00 (will this ever change?) I've had this component for over 4 months. Cleared cache...deleted queue...pinged all menus once again.

What needs to be done? Does it have to do with htcaccess...? If so what do I need uncomment...
